Taking a Phone Payment in Stripe Dashboard

This guide provides a simple, step-by-step process for completing an online payment through the Stripe portal. By following these instructions, users can easily take a invoice payment over the phone. This guide is designed for anyone who needs to process payments quickly and efficiently using Stripe's dashboard interface.
1. When on the Stripe Dashboard, click on the blue "+" symbol located in the top-right corner of the dashboard
2. Click on Create
3. Click on Payment…
4. Enter the Value
5. Click on the Customer Name
6. I have Set up a Cash Customer for the drop down
7. Enter description
In the "Description" field, enter a consistent format for the invoice:“Invoice <NUMBER> for <CUSTOMER NAME> with PO <PO NUMBER>”
8. Enter card information
9. Click on Submit payment in the top Right
10. Payment Complete.
After processing, a page will confirm whether the payment was successful.
If the payment is successful, you can send the customer a receipt. If you close the page before sending the receipt or need to send it later, follow the steps below.
